Area of responsibility and competence
Daniel Gunkel is responsible for recycling and waste management at events within the Sustainability team. His role encompass coordinating the HKES recycling station, as well as site control measures at festivals. Furthermore, he is responsible for planning and implementing site cleaning und waste management at various events. He uses his expertise in event automation to help make future events more sustainable.
Qualifications
Daniel Gunkel holds his Master’s of Science in Automation Systems from the TU Chemnitz. During his studies he already aided HKES in the area of sustainability at numerous events. He brings valuable experience in event automation from his studies.
